Meet The Artist
Tami Noa Levy is the artist behind Tail Lord, based in Toronto, Canada. She’s been painting pet portraits for over a decade—because once you start immortalizing adorable animals in watercolour, it’s hard to stop. Her artistic journey in pet portraiture began with simple illustrations and evolved into the rich, vibrant works she creates today. Inspired by her love of animals and the natural world, Tami has a knack for capturing each pet’s unique personality—whether it’s regal, goofy, or “secretly plotting something.” What started as heartfelt Christmas gifts for friends quickly turned into a full-fledged business (because apparently, people really love their pets). Through her portraits, she aims to celebrate the deep, slightly obsessive love we have for our furry overlords.
